On Sat. April 17th, LGBTQI rights activists, student groups, organizations, community members and allies will come together to discuss and debate how to achieve full equality while strengthening local and regional grassroots networks.

The conference is a great opportunity to strengthen and grow our movement by debating and discussing strategies to win civil rights, learning about LGBTQI history and struggle, and planning future actions together, including the National Day of Action on Harvey Milk Day.

Out of the National Equality March formed Equality Across America (EAA), a national network of grassroots LGBT activists and organizations fighting for full federal equality. EAA-affiliated groups across the country are holding regional conferences to develop the politics and strategy to build a national LGBT civil rights movement that can win full federal equality.

From the Midwest to the Southwest, from the Northeast to the Northwest, activists all over the U.S. are getting motivated and inspired to new action through the education, connections, strategizing, and organizing taking place through these conferences. FENDC represents the Mid-Atlantic through EqualiCon, and we invite the active participation of the entire region to make this conference a uniting space for our whole community.

We welcome all identities and allies, new and longtime activists, students and workers, individuals and representatives of all organizations. Let's work together, learn from each other and our collective history, and move forward to win full equality NOW!
